G&Fs most wanted: Hiking the Emperor Ranges we battle through heavy snow to the summit, just to be surprised at lunch and chased downhill by rolling thunder above our heads. 500 meter lower, the snow still shows the signs of heavy hail that just has missed us out in the open. Happy we arrived at our Hutt, the Ritzau Alm, where we devoured a matchless press dumpling soup bevor we retreated to our chambers.
